The new standard in North Bay Flag Football is back as the
Novato Flag Football League (NFFL) returns this January for another exciting season, running from January 4th to March 15th, 2026, with games played every Sunday at the Novato High School Football Stadium. We’re excited to announce expanded divisions now open to ALL 6th, 7th, and 8th graders with a newly added Girls Division for the 2026 season!
What Makes NFFL Different?
We DRAFT every team to ensure true competitive balance — no stacked rosters, no lopsided standings, just tightly matched games all season.
Every team is coached by high school student-athletes, bringing energy, leadership, and a fresh perspective to the field. Parents get to enjoy the action from the sidelines — just the way youth sports should be.
League Format

Fast-paced 7-on-7 style of play utilizing the full width of the field

Focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship

Separate Boys' & Girls' Divisions (final structure based on registration)

Teams formed via a draft after player evaluations — no pre-built rosters
